“..Quite the powerup you fools have gotten.
But i’m still made to be superior to every single one of you.

And that is merely a 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓.”

Omega crashed his hand down on the ground causing multiple blasts to go in different directions.
Trying to knock the two of them down from flying.

watching this clip back and realizing that if i hadn't taken the damage from fake bowser and lost the powerup that i would've bonked on the corner wall after the buzzy beetle and wouldn't have made it to the exit lmao

this was literally about as perfect a run as i could've done in this situation

They abused the hell out of cutscenes, there are places where it works well (Pirates divergent paths) but mostly it's wasting my time, literally. Powerup timers run as the camera swings back from the cutscenes. Just always breaking flow of game with cutscenes and loading. Every load is a failure.

The Active Directory Privilege Escalation Masterclass: How PowerUp Exposes Critical Windows Misconfigurations
Introduction: In the realm of cybersecurity, offensive security tools are invaluable for defenders to understand their own vulnerabilities. PowerUp, a renowned PowerShell script part of the PowerSploit framework, is designed to identify common misconfigurations on Windows systems that could lead to privilege escalation. Successfully executing this script, as demonstrated in a recent penetration testing engagement, reveals the stark reality of how seemingly minor oversights can grant attackers domain admin-level access, compromising an entire corporate network.

I loved BujinSword, what a cool powerup. Partial to swords though so biases.

it's also really infuriating to me that in the varsity blues scandal the rich kids got diagnosed with ADHD to get extra time on tests. like it was being used as like a powerup you can buy and not something you give to people who actually need it

me and some other person trying to get the same powerup: 🔁🔁🔁

Oh damn... I think its actually going to happen. Scarlet might punch out god to close the season!
Nice of Chronos to give us a powerup, a way to reclaim Diana's powers, & fix Scarlet's hair all in about 5 minutes.

>Every time she picks up a powerup.

"So, yeah, this is a thing I do now. I roll into a ball..."

by contrast, mechanics that exist for attention-drawing like yellow paint, or seeing a powerup on terrain you might otherwise perceive as impassable terrain, or the texture of a breakable wall being perceptibly different, are not there to tell you anything but rather to prompt you to have an impulse

So for example, here's an implementation of Breakout. We'd like to make a powerup to make it easier for the player to win. After a while, Pixie came up with this - the ball gets bigger on each bounce. Watch what happens... a very broken idea, but one that's kind of fun and unexpected.
