I'm not too thrilled with it😂
Congrats on the win!
One thing I forgot to mention last week is just how unbelievably stacked this voice cast is!
Every single character has a heavy hitter voicing them & the cast is only growing with 2 brand new characters showing up for the next loop!
I loved the spacewalk to establish trust with Jina, but with it turning out that she was the Gnosia, it begs the question why she wouldn't just murder Yuuri there & take the ship by force after.
It also kind of breaks the logic when the last person is put into cold sleep & is weirdly chill with it.
Look, I know she's just being all flirty to dissuade suspicion & we just saw her turn & kill Yuuri at the end of episode one, but maybe she's alright this time...
Bro, I am begging you to stop blabbing about your time loop ability. It is literally guaranteeing you an eventual win if the Gnosia don't find out about it.
Very interesting to see that Setsu has no knowledge of the death defiance that they gifted Yuuri. It seems like we can expect wildly different timelines given the OP.
Gnosia - Episode 2

Oh good, she's a murderous alien & a tattletale

Someone's been wit-maxing...
That teaser for 'Obey' is wild! Taking her from a legitimate threat to full-on danger.
Just how deep does her obsession run?
There's a break next week, but it looks like we're going right into the Cup after that.
It's going to be a brutal wait!
We finally get some more Cross this week & it instantly reminded me how likable she is. Swinging immediately from looming threat to secondary protagonist is crazy work!
We also got our first look at Gold City with Oguri doing the really important research!
I loved these scenes so much!
How can she see through such an iron-clad disguise!?
I praised the previous episodes for organically introducing so many racers for The Japan Cup, this one, however felt much more like an info dump until we got to Obey's segment. Her knowledge of Oguri felt truly intimidating.
We got maybe the coolest & most unfortunate name drops in the same episode.
Moonlight Lunacy is so damn cool, meanwhile Obey Your Master heard "touch some grass" & took that personally.
This raises some interesting questions about horse girls in other sports.
Horse girl basketball must be insane!
Umamusume: Cinderella Gray - Episode 16

Rice Ball, Basketball, Belno Light; Oguri's taking the Cup

Well, the piranhas certainly came in handy...
What a great episode! I was expecting for everything to be totally wrapped up by the end, but Ranma still being trapped as a girl is too fun to let go of!
I enjoyed S1, but S2 has really stepped up its game!
Ranma finally listening to Akane & having the time of his life at the festival was so much fun!

I also love that several times this episode Shampoo is just in the background hawking her ramen. What a businesswoman!
Cologne has quickly become one of my favorite characters (& not just because she gave us maid & bunny Ranma in the same episode).
She somehow makes Shampoo look tame in the lengths she goes to try & force Ranma into an engagement.
It's so interesting to put these two in a room together. Shampoo is so direct with what she wants & Akane just can't help her tsundere tendencies. She cares about Ranma regardless of his gender, but can't admit it.
Now I just want to see these two hang out for a whole episode!
"Transforming into a girl" to cover for your actual ability to do just that is some 1000 IQ stuff.
Also, I'm not sure Ranma thought out the bunny suit, but if Akane isn't careful she's going to make a lot of enemies in that crowd.
Dark-haired female Ranma, my beloved!
I love him taking the piss out of Mousse before their fight even starts.
Ranma ½ Season 2 - Episode 3

Poor Ranma, what a trooper...

I love tying this all back to Anya's tonitrus bolt!
Time back with the family is such a needed breath of fresh air after how suffocating the flashback felt.
It feels crazy to be thrown back into the forger family, which feels especially fake right after learning "Loid's" past.
Now do a Yor origin!
"I wanted to make a world where no kid has to cry. That's why I became a spy"

Thinking back on this quote from Loid in S1 & reflecting on this scene & flashback as whole, I feel like we are finally getting to know the man called Twilight.
In such a tragic origin for Twilight, this moment felt especially cruel.
Regaining his childhood friends only to immediately lose them again is the only time we get to see the humanity behind who he has become & hit especially hard for me.
This Frankie cameo felt crazy to me. Mostly because I could not figure how Loid, at this point in his life, would let him live, but the ambush ties it up quite cleanly
I'm curious if we'll ever get to see when the two reconnected in WISE.
This was such a powerful episode for Loid. Getting to see his life torn away from him from such an early age & how that played such a large part transforming him into both the soldier we see him as this arc & the man we know now.
