I think why this is keeping me up is because in Nova Scotia's 2020 mass murders, the killer had escaped the containment zone police later set up around Portapique, hid himself overnight, and then started killing again in the morning far away from the first murders.
wtfdik, and I'm only posting this because I can't get back to sleep at 3am, but the video shows the shooter walking east on Waterman from Hope, which is to say out of the area that is contained by police. (Upper right red box)

I hear you. Portapique was really hard for me but yeah the most recent census had some really disturbing statistics.
I’m hoping maybe some of us can be heard but we continue to be tired , and frustrated , and angry.

As a child my dad built a cottage in Portapique. We stayed there every summer as he worked in Debert as a firefighter. That area you posted was like a second home to me. Very fond memories.

I can only remember they used a vehicle like this with the things that happened in Portapique. They used the one from the RCMP.
