The Durand Line, drawn by British India in 1893, divides Pashtun tribes & is rejected by Afghanistan as a permanent border. This issue has led to border closures & fueled Pashtunistan movements. 🏞️💥

Islamabad sought "strategic depth" w/ Taliban's return in '21 🤝 but fundamental issues persist. Kabul rejects the Durand Line, & Pakistan fears "Pashtunistan" ⛰️. Accusations of sheltering TTP abound. #DurandLine #TTP

Pakistan accuses Taliban of sheltering TTP terrorists 😠. Kabul resents Rawalpindi treating it like a puppet. Meanwhile, peaceful rights groups like Pashtun Tahafuz Movement are ignored 🤫. #Taliban #TTP #Pashtunistan
