So me, yep up on the City Hall stage at PVDFest Saturday. Why? Well, guess what? I WON 2 ROUND TRIP TICKETS!!! From Breeze Airways anywhere Breeze flies from PVD. How cool is that?!?

PVDFest begins tonight with a 4:45 p.m. performance from Squonk, the Pittsburgh-based group that has been staging spectacular outdoor shows for more than 30 years. Squonk’s “Brouhaha” will run twice Friday and twice on Saturday.

It will be interesting to see if the move goes result in higher attendance. Because tbh, as a long-time PVDFest go-er… I completely forgot this year after last year’s debacle. June went right past and I didn’t even notice PVDFest didn’t happen.

yes, PVDFest and Pride were 2 weeks apart. small city staff, A LOT of work to create and produce. bringing it into september allows bookend summer events, & the pvd college students are back in town to participate as well. not sure why you think it's bad?

More seriously, I saw analysis that described him as having “no major scandals” and it’s like… well, that’s an editorial decision. Why the mayor destroyed PVDFest, a beloved cultural institution, could easily be a major scandal.
