I would totally go watch Endgame in a theater again if only to experience the portals opening, Cap finally yelling "assemble," and the swell of the score at the start of the final battle. It gives me chills every time I watch it because I remember how it felt in the theater. /nerdrant

In all seriousness, omelettes are just undercooked a bit.

Which is odd because they tend to stay hot longer. But the physics checks out, omelettes have more water to retain heat and less surface area to dissipate the heat. /nerdrant

Nerdrant over. 5/5

Galactus is too small. Wolverine is too tall. Yadda yadda. But nobody complains Aunt May is too young? #movierant #nerdrant

Sorry for the #nerdrant but I'm amazed at his genius. He later died by the sword of a Roman centurion who interrupted his geometry work.

why cant these amazing new delay/reverb guitar pedals w built in loopers actually make their loopers useful & have them sync to midi clock? all i want is an ehx 1440 slapped into one of these dope ambient glitch monsters but they all have freerun loopers!

Time for a little #NerdRant. Bear with me. So last night I was in the movie theater and after the trailers I heard a guy saying “see that? Nothing original, only sequels & adaptations”. The trailers shown were Borderlands, the new Alien, Deadpool 3 and Beetlejuice 2.

That’s such an ODD COMPLAINT 1/

I could not tell you when it first came out, but it was some really weird nerdrant someone went on lecturing people who use cheats in singleplayer games, or something like that.

i defended game freak for reusing pokemon models game-to-game. and i still stand by it. it's hundreds of models to create and rig for minor polish

but this... is indefensible. Hi-Fi or Lo-Fi. pick one, idc which

If I may, *pushing up glasses*

Speed actually doesn't factor into calorie burn at all. The rough conversion is 1 mile = 2,000 steps = 100 calories, give or take depending on body weight. The heavier you are, the more you burn, but not by much. I burn like 110 or so, as an example.

This is a #nerdrant but how in the year of our lord 2025 does domPDF not handle RTL, even when specified via CSS? What should have been a trivial problem to solve has now cost me 48 hours of my time, and to implement it via TCPDF, will cost another several days.

The more I learn, the more I realize I will *never* learn all there is to learn.

My most recent rabbithole has been 1830s-1870s American history, including naval expeditions ... I will spare you the nerdrant
