Homer’s predecessors recited from the ruins of Mycenaean Greece. The Saxons had conquered the isolated heirs of Roman Britain. Vikings raided Christendom and defined themselves against it. Japan was urbanized but still fringe compared to China.

Looks like the cuneiform fonts I've added to Wikipedia work only on PC.
And it seems that Android automatically renders Aramaic and Phoenician script as how NOTO Fonts make them appear.

The bridge likely served both military convoys and chariots, as indicated by its sloped approaches and stone-paved surface. It represents a crucial element of the Mycenaean highway system, which demonstrates the strategic planning and state organization..

The Nazis claimed the Dorians were Aryan saviors of a fallen Mycenaean world, but they only shattered what they couldn't grasp. Sparta became their legacy of control and austerity, while Athens, child of Mycenaean chaos, transformed ruin into art, philosophy, and the restless idea of freedom.

So, the bulls and the snakes are confusing here, but Kerenyi could point to the phrase, if it is relevant to the Mycenaean Greece -- a bit over a millennium away from these accounts.

Researchers from Athens say that the ones like the gold-studded Bush Barrow dagger (a later version of the one in this drawing) inspired Mycenaean gold-workers. Lots of European links in the Bronze Age - Cunnington and Colt Hoare were right!

Long story short, the armor works just fine. But I'm curious what would've happened if the Marines involved had kept training with the stuff for a couple months. Imagine what they would have figure out about how to fight in it!
