So when Payakan says to lo’ak “no I can’t talk about it, it’s too painful” and the cgi whale gives an over performance of like turning it’s head away I was fucking howling in the cinema but then you see the memory of his whole family slaughtered and it’s like “oh my god… it was too painful 😭😭😭”
Can’t help noticing all the people defending Avatar’s cultural impact never mention any bits they like from it, any of the performances or any lines of dialogue.

once the Ash arrive, the battle mostly pivots to the POV of Lo'ak and Kiri. afterwards we see only a couple instances of Na'vi fighting Na'vi. I'm sure some of those cuts are also for length, but if we ever get an extended cut, more payoff for the Ash is what I want restored most

Makes sense with Kiri being the narrator as Lo’ak was the narrator in Fire and Ash.

Makes sense with Kiri being the narrator as Lo’ak was the narrator in Fire and Ash.
