At the halfway point of #LibFaves25! Mostly known as a YA author, John Green gives us a witty, informative - and above all, supremely accessible - medical history in his non-fiction hit EVERYTHING IS TUBERCULOSIS.

Day 5 of #LibFaves25 and my pick is hard to put into a set genre. DEATH OF AN AUTHOR by Nnedi Okorafor is a story within a story - an author who is transformed by a prosthetic and the book she writes about a lonely robot. It makes you think and entertained at the same time. Gorgeous writing.

Missed yesterday #libfaves25 so catching up. I loved Patrick Ryan's historical family novel, BUCKEYE. At the close of WWII, two families become entwined and spend the next 40 years trying to overcome their mistakes.

#LibFaves25, day 6!

Donna Andrews, For Duck's Sake

Part of a long-running cozy mystery series. I read them more for the characters than the mysteries. But that's the way I read all Mystery.

THE NAMES, by Florence Knapp, is book club gold!

What’s in a name? As it turns out plenty, in this terrific alternate time-line debut.
For me, all the buzz for this book was absolutely warranted. Loved it.

Today’s #LibFaves25 pick: Stacey Abrams’ CODED JUSTICE. Avery Keene, now an investigator for a high powered law firm, investigates suspicious deaths at a tech company using AI for health care. A page turning thriller that also raises thoughtful ethical questions
