Like. I know tools and data. This exercise puts me in change of 70 legacy IT systems and a team of product owners (a role for which I will say again...they didn't give me). And with the job of working out how to restructure and priorities this team. I have no line management experience whatsoever.

Legacy tech is the silent blocker in every organisation. Old systems, hidden dependencies and forgotten logic slow innovation and create risk. Legacy doesn’t fade: it grows until it becomes a strategic problem. Real progress starts with ownership, bold decisions and redesign where needed. #Cloud #IT

The Embedded Security Paradigm Shift: Why Your Microcontroller Needs Modern Abstractions Now
Introduction: The embedded systems landscape is undergoing a radical transformation as modern microcontrollers achieve performance surpassing legacy desktop processors. This evolution necessitates a fundamental rethink of software architecture approaches, particularly regarding security implementations. The historical resistance to abstractions in resource-constrained environments is becoming increasingly untenable as system complexity grows exponentially. Learning Objectives: Understand how zero-cost abstractions can enhance security without performance penalties…

🦏 Legacy systems fear disintermediation for a reason.

Apple Pay and Google Pay need banks.
Every swipe runs through layers of middlemen.

Bitcoin doesn’t.
It settles peer to peer, instantly, with no gatekeepers.
