thats what i was thinking. plus they can jump so high, they'd need a lot of leg strength. the hydra and explosher also must be super heavy, inklings and octolings have to be insanely strong

Being the Inklings nerd at my fundie Christian high school means I found the books in our library no one had really checked out, enabling me to get this reference
tolkien: legolas and gimli were deeply bonded, if you understand me. achilles and patroclus. david and jonathan. jack and mrs moore.
I mean it was essentially canon before the movies were ever made, right? To the extent the author was willing to say so. Which is to say "not at all," but still -- the two of them became life partners! They went to Elf Heaven together!
