There are definitely two sets of standards! While on strike with the UAW (FoMoCo) or my sisters IBEW (Verizon) we didn't work we didn't get paid by the company!

BS. Apologizing for fascism is always BS.
The head of FoMoCo at the time notwithstanding, we the people understood what we were fighting AGAINST, and it was, in fact, FASCISM -- personified by Hitler, Mussolini, and Japan.
Get your head out and learn real history.

Remind FOMOCO that it's dealing with the most successful businessman there ever was regardless of his multiple bankruptcies, he is the artist of the deals.

That’s FoMoCo, not the Foundation.
But that too contradicts your argument. How are either of those things possible *on the basis of your logic* when they were founded by a hateful racist?

They carried the style influences through everything in the FoMoCo lineup. I think it was to repent from the box era of the 70s and 80s

Fixing my Mazda, and all the parts are stamped "FoMoCo." It's the Ford Global C-car Platform that underpinned ~12 cars, including Volvos. The floorpans are different, but the front and rear subframes, suspension, steering, braking, and some of the electrical components are shared.

The taxi/coach/cop car trade kept GM and FoMoCo in the body-on-frame RWD trade longer than they probably would have preferred.

Now, in the "help stop extra keystrokes" arena.
When I worked in HR at FoMoCo, we spelled it "employe" to save time and, yes, keystrokes.
I would like to help our neighbors to the North with a suggestion...
Spell it LABOR. SPELL IT COLOR. Drop the "U". In a year's time, your wrist will thank you.

The early 2000s was only the second round at FoMoCo, since the mid-'90s took away the Thunderbird/Cougar/Mark VIII, the Probe, and the Capri.
The FWD Cougar was just a sop to Lincoln-Mercury dealers that was cheap to do since the 3rd Gen Probe was sunk costs by that time.

Oooh, it's fun to see how these change over time. Ford's 1901 Sweepstakes car or Oldfield's 999 tend to be a big deals in a lot of histories of early auto racing because of the importance to the creation of FoMoCo.
But in this history from 1910, a year after the release of the Model T: nothing yet.
