As an HR professional. I agree with most of this. The one thing that I tell people about work is that you can be friendly, but never friends. DO NOT BE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE AT WORK. Everything I found out about things that are going on in the company is because somebody's work bff came into my office

Yup, the call went out on FB, Thursday night and all weekend several groups and many individuals kept the pantries stocked, and all week there has always been items in the one near our home. The Food Bank did double duty M-F, but the Pantries kept a lot of people from Freaking out last weekend.
