I found this large rock while exploring the side roads in Etowah, TN. It looked out of place sitting there on the pavement next to a stucco wall.

The name of the formation, Trollpikken, translates to troll's dick. From the other side, where the trail approaches it, I could see that. But from this angle looks to me like a troll's head with a big nose.

You're exactly right. I finished high school in Kingston and have lived in Roane County for about 50 years now. Currently in Ten Mile, almost in Meigs County.

Just one of the reasons I shoot large format, perspective control. On the left, a shot from a medium Fuji GS645S. On the right, one taken with my 4x5 using front rise to keep the vertical lines vertical. It doesn't look like it's falling over backwards any more.
