Today, for the first time, I’m going to the funeral of a former student. She was a trans woman who struggled with her evangelist Christian faith and with acceptance by her family. She was a fearless activist and advocate for oppressed people. I’ve not yet been able to find out how she died.

Evangelism is more than simply encouraging decisions for Christ. It is urging people to become disciples—followers—of Jesus Christ. As such, the evangelist has a responsibility to make growth in discipleship possible for those who come to faith under his ministry.

Think about it. We have had so many racist politicians, but Poilievre represents a complete and modern embrace of racism. He also claims to be an evangelist, which is utter bullshit. He's Christian in the sense that he'll give taxpayer money to conservative Christians for votes.
