i do gotta give praise for the dev using the darkplaces enhancements to their full advantage. it seems like he teleports in spots where you would've seen his shadow being casted far away

after playing White Finger for IHS though i have thought about doing something else for a quake horror mod instead but only time will tell if i actually decide to do something or not. if i do i am most likely gonna look into what DarkPlaces could provide for me. them shadows and lighting look tight

Agreed. I'm not a jumpscare girl, never have been. Atmosphere though? oh yeah. Silent Hill, Kuon (loses points for jumps but still creepy), F.E.A.R., even Quake with the original soundtrack and a good engine like Darkplaces.
