Close enough Welcome Back Croteam Football Glory
First piece of 2026 done, with a lot of experimentation in this one. I pushed myself to do a more dynamic, action oriented piece, paying more attention to vanishing points than usual. Le jeu est d'une grande ingéniosité et offre une variété de situation allant de géniales à parfois trop complexes pour moi. Reste un puzzle game très plaisant mais dont le propos se perd un peu à la longue dans du verbiage (pseudo-)philosophique.

Yeah, had the most draw distance and volume of on-screen baddies out of any engine at the time.
Pretty underrated. It was licensable but mainly only ever used by Croteam for the Serious Sam games.

Если в прямом смысле укачало, это общая проблема игр CroTeam связанная с тем что персонаж двигается со скоростью 200км/ч, и у них прямо полстраницы в настройках отведено на устранение всего что помогает укачиванию!

I like to go back to Civvie's review of the Serious Sam games every once in a while to remind myself that Serious Sam 2, the game Croteam declared non-canon, is the best of the series.

And meanwhile, Croteam gave Serious Sam 2 a nice big update for its 20th anniversary last month. Croteam really knows how to celebrate their games' anniversaries much better than Halo Studios ever could. Salute to Croteam.
