My wife and I first climbed Catbells together. We got married last year and had our rings made by Lakeland Rings, inlaid with slate from Catbells and an image of the mountain range.

Annual trip to Borrowdale to time #KingoftheCastlerace - YHA Borrowdale to top of Castle Crags-a real belter!
Uphill only TTs are my kind of race-finished 1st FV60 so got to sit on the throne for my prize!
As always we then enjoyed an evening jog up and down Catbells #topdayout

Quite a lump is Catbells too Mick. Good on her. Takes after her dad with her love for the outdoors. Every time the UK has snow they are always flying over the Fells showing it. 🤷‍♂️ I’m sure you will get some before too long. 🥶🥶

I would have thought the same as well Alan. It's very rare we get much snow as we're west of the fells, but normally the fells get a decent covering. My daughter walked up Catbells near Keswick yesterday and said there was no snow apart from a bit on the tops of the higher ones.
