My co-op cooks daily vegan meals for even less than that, granted the calories really aren't there unless you go nuts with the rice and tofu.

When I first visited Osaka, after a few days on tempting conbini food, I realized it was averaging $1/100 calories and this wasn't a good long term plan ($20/day for 2000 calories) and switched back to cooking.

Not easy to do. Thru my 20's I starved & worked out & ran & counted calories but my fingernails peeled & hair got stringy so I changed. Now I could dig graves with these claws but my hair is so-so

Yeah, I feel like 20 g / 200-ish calories is reasonable. Anything with a higher protein to calorie ratio tastes awful, anything significantly less isn’t really a protein bar

These batch should be way over 2000 calories and have about way too much protein. Instead of eggs I used one of chia seed pudding (so extra protein from the soy milk)

Weight loss is simply mathematics.
Burn more calories than you consume.
It’s in the weight loss industry’s best interest to complicate the issue and convince the public they are needed and have the magical solution.
Fire them all.
Track your caloric intake and calories burned.

I’m laughing at the McDonalds reference. If you were really tracking every penny, you’d know that Taco Bell or a pizza is way more calories per dollar. Kind of proving Wills point that this idealized poor person who knows everything to the penny and notices a 2% difference is noble savage fiction.

I looked at the label of this prebiotic soda and learned that it contains fiber meant to support gut health. It only has about 30 calories, which makes it seem like a healthier option. However, it still contains added sugar and manufactured flavor blends.
