Got a BLOPS 7 code and went to download it. Not obviously in my library, it’s hidden under just “Call of Duty.” Only realized it was BLOPS7 because of Milo.
Prompts you to download both BLOPS 6 and 7, so I uncheck 6 and only do 7 multiplayer.
Downloads a dozen content packs across MW2, 3 & more.

I genuinely don't know what's going on at Activision because they normally rotate studios but with Blops7 they just had Treyarch/Raven jump straight into a sequel the year after they released Blops6 while still doing the live service stuff and it really shows
Blops7 reeks of "oh fuck we need to ship something in 8 months" because a lot of this stuff is just lifted straight from their zombies mode and a bunch of the campaign maps are reskins of Blops6 multiplayer maps

I've bought or gamepass'd every COD on release for the last 5 years or so (and I deserve to be judged for this sicko behaviour) but I'm not bothering with BLOPS7. Maybe I'll grab it if BF6 runs out of steam but idk, the trajectory COD is on seems boring. And I don't even mind the silly aesthetics

some of them are down right hilarious as its almost like no one did any research on the whole secureBoot thing.

So their servers are done once Blops7 drops then? They got rid of both 24/7 maps and all the fun shit and left us with almost nothing lol. Well I guess once Blops7 happens, I'm deleting #BlackOps6 because the game will basically dead because of them killing the servers immediately...

I think they probably burned out a lot of IW staff by rushing immediately MW23 and so they need what's functionally a 3-year dev cycle to put something out, but if I'm being honest the Blops7 writing feels *way* more like IW than Treyarch
