like this is something the NHL would do. The same lig that not only didn't put Willie O'Ree into the HOF until he was in his mid- 80s, but they didn't put him in by himself and instead elected him alongside Gary Bettman.
say what you will about baseball, but at least some of its HOF ballots are made public. this is literally a bunch of people accountable to no one sitting in a room and debating whether someone is a HOFer.

Complaining once again that there are more NHL games blacked out in Canada than being shown (at least for me on the West Coast).
And no games in which Canadian teams are being shown nationally (the Red Wings game is on so I’ll happily watch that but still).

If the NHL is really serious about these dirty hits then the penalty should match the amount of games the sidelined player is out... but off course Bettman runs a bush league !

I'm 90% certain when someone in the NBA goes on a rant about the officials in the post game the fine comes from Adam Silver.
If you're doing something dumb that makes the NHL look bad, the fine and statement should come from Bettman or his office
