IT'S NOT LETTING ME IN TO PLAY WITH SOL AND PENGUIN AND SPECARTIA :'( so I literally had to download battlenet and ow again to play with them lol and it works, so it's a steam issue most likely

i decided to make a temp account. funny thing, my only perma-install battlenet game is starcraft 1 remastered, which is on my normal account. whenever i swap over, the original version's fine but they disable the "remastered" part lskdjf.

i just want to eventually sate a curiosity with WoW considering classic is in the mists of pandaria expansion, which was my original reason for trying it back when it was new. i go to change my battlenet region and they ask for proof of residence.

modern battlenet has to be the funniest digital storefront because it offers a grand total of 30 games, less than half of which are exclusive. probably because it was never intended to be one initially.

BO4 is the only game that actively ruins itself. its a late last gen game with no FOV settings and odd performance, and is the only game NOT available on steam, im not touching battlenet. some great maps, but the 4 hit down, shitty perk system, elixirs and everything else just mean i wont touch it

i hope someone can eventually bundle battlenet into aur like turtle wow launcher is. that would be sick. lutris works good tho, just extra steps.

I am not wasting money on a digital copy just to get a battlenet balance refund later. It’s a waste of money. Blizzard really should have a better system than this, especially when they don’t guarantee release date delivery.

Battlenet has to be the worst launcher I've used in used. Steam will saturate my download at the full 90 MB/s my net will do, and the drive to match (NVMe, can over 500 MB/s). But somehow Battlenet peaks at 2 MB/s on the same NVMe with averages at 1.3
