Tove is Lady Dea. Tove is Adelaide Montagu. Tove is someone who fits ear cuffs over round, blunt ears. Tove is the watcher at the walls of the ballroom. Tove is blunted fangs behind red lips, asking a question of the face in the moon: “What now?” #AllYouCanWriteAugust

Rowan’s coven of grandmothers represent Autumn (Oma), Spring (Gran), and Winter (Nonna). They raised him as their eventual Summer once his hag transformation completes.

Wise beyond untold years, the coven uses brutal magic to show their grandson love… #AllYouCanWriteAugust

Power corrupts.

Fed magic drop by drop, those who provide it make the call on what those lucky fey will do with it. As the chess masters tug the threads of fate, it will be all the more difficult to stop them with the tools they themselves have provided.
