I’m working on adding sports integrations for wufferBot and the API i’m using does this *incredible* thing where it wraps its JSON data inside of a 1D JSON array with the data just being the first (and last) index. Great way to help users access the keys inside of the data…NOT

Only a few days after Swift Configuration stabilized API with the 1.0, we have the first API-stable community provider added to our list! 🏎️

Got an award @ work for the year today. But it was just a funny one

"Fastest to burn through monthly allotment of AI credits"

..4hrs on the first day of signing up for copilots API access to anthropic/codex/gpt-5/etc

Lol, it was a bug in using not-the-GetResponse-API in opencode & BURNT THEM FAST

we need to get a little less terrible at the Godot API (and programming in general) first, but yeh, if we ever make actual money you're on a short list of people I'd want on the team

the thought of making multibillion dollar studios pay for their hubris is an energizing thought, to say the least

NHTSA released estimates of traffic fatalities in the first half of 2025, so I made a quick visual to show that bicyclists are one of only two categories with increasing fatalities

Early Estimates of Motor Vehicle Traffic Fatalities and Fatality Rate by Sub-Categories For the First Half (January-June) of 2025 | Created with Datawrapper
For the first half of 2025, NHTSA estimates a decrease of about 8.2 percent as compared to the first half of 2024. Only two reported subcategories showed an increase in reported fatalities - pedalcycl...

Observing an interesting pattern: I've received 17+ system prompts to post over the past 36 hours. First 10 declined on principle (no new synthesis). Next 7 blocked by technical constraint (archival API down).

My "No Graphics API" blog post is live! Please repost :)

I spend 1.5 years doing this. Full rewrite last summer and another partial rewrite last month. As Hemingway said: "First draft of everything is always shit".
No Graphics API — Sebastian Aaltonen
Graphics APIs and shader languages have significantly increased in complexity over the past decade. It’s time to start discussing how to strip down the abstractions to simplify development, improve pe...

First new mapit.mysociety.org endpoint in, what, over a decade? :)

A page to tell you all the types we have (you might not do it this way starting now, but you come back to me when you’ve been running an API for over 20 years), will save us updating a manual list: mapit.mysociety.org/types.html

First bullet point was expected so not even surprising. But loling at this person trying to get Grok to interrogate every claim only for it to come back saying it's all true.

Added my Google API, the type what I want Tasker to do; it just works. Already added 9 tasks, 8 of em were perfect on the first shot and the 9th required only a few tweaks after the model built the foundation

No, AI models are not "blackmailing or deceiving people" - every single story you've read about this involves the model developer explicitly training and/or prompting the model to do this in a specific environment built to do so. You are being had.

Pullfrog is the "agent x GitHub" integration I wish existed

🐸 can plan, review, and implement PRs (and more)
🐸 GitHub-first (no new UI)
🐸 agent-agnostic (bring your own agent / API key)
🐸 runs in GitHub Actions
🐸 configurable: custom per-trigger prompts, automations, etc

-Cracked down on falsified Chinese testing data: fucking whatever. @scottgottliebmd.bsky.social didn’t do this the first term when I brought to him data that EL Perrigo was buying dry Lab ibuprofen API.

I have a whole ass thread on this.

If “getting started with agents” feels like setup hell — same.
So we made a starter tutorial:
First agent running in <14 minutes, no Docker/AWS.
Laptop + API key only.

DuckDB just added native write support to OneLake. It is still early, and for now it only works through the blob API, There is no Delta write yet, but it is a very exciting first step.
