Whenever a queer character/ship gets sidelined/destroyed in a story im always like, Ok. well. If I just wait patiently for like 15 yrs, eventually the Gays who were ALSO let down by that story will make their OWN SHIT that's obviously just a ripoff of the original but it's gayer/better in every way.
