Even Fraser called the modern LNP bastards and objected to filing the country with US troops. Last bit of politics he did was support the greens!

A lot of American politics makes a lot of sense when you realise it's largely fascists and adjacent fighting with one another over exactly *which* malevolent foreign other is responsible for the degeneration of the Perfect American Nation.

What human experience are they trying to share? Because 1d12 vs 2d6, one of them is categorically better for that intent I guarantee it! Your probabilities drastically change the tension and tone of your story!

To be a moderate means, at best, to believe in nothing. At worst, it means being on the side of status quo but acknowledging the centre cannot hold. It's either believing in nothing or surrender by its nature as a position.

There are also a lot of people saying shit like that who then turn out to exclusively try find people through hookup apps and the like, then are baffled that Tinder etc have a larger population of poly people than, say, good Christians looking for 6mo dating then marriage.

Once again, the Reactionary idiot brigade not understanding the very, very simple concept: if there is a subgroup who is not afforded due process, then nobody is afforded due process, as you can be baselessly accused of being in that group and stripped of any process to contest it.

the purpose of an appeal is not generally to litigate the appropriateness of the sentence but the validity of the process which arrived at it, as you would know if your conception of how the state kills people had not been interrupted by the idea of murder giving you an erection

Australian, but in a similar sentiment, the fucked rental market doesn't help either. We'd probably play more, especially more games with physical elements, if our group's two main GMs (myself and housemate) hadn't been forced to move two and a half hours away from our urban centre

Meanwhile, the big tipping point that really should make your character struggle, feeding on people, is humanity 8, so most characters will start play without actually worrying about that moral quandary.

And it's hard to not end up playing it like a superhero when you can just start play with Celerity 3.

I really do wish VTMs mechanics were more harmonious with the setting. A lot of this comes from that incongruence - it's hard to take humanity seriously when you're very likely to take your first drop not from vampire assholery but from like, keying some asshole's car.

And that's before you get to the perverse incentives of things like private equity, where a company may be paying a lot for something to juice the valuation of another company with the same owners (see: all the PE real estate shenanigans, or the nvidia compute shell game)
