Some of today’s efforts. Watched the 1978 BBC adaptation of Wuthering Heights while doing so; it was a bit grim! Not very festive viewing but I enjoyed it anyway.

Busy day; no trip to Fife as had a couple of appointments this morning, also had a nice lady from the local church pop over to pick up a box of crafting stuff I don’t need to use at their messy church events. Afternoon was spent making Christmas cards; 7 down, another 12 to go!

Sacked off the plan to start my personal Christmas cards tonight as too sleepy. Blankie, hot water bottle, mug of tea and a bit of telly instead. Regretting not buying the box of After Eights that was shouting my name as I left work; dark chocolate corn cakes just not cutting it tonight!

Got absolutely drenched on the way home; hat & brolly kept my top half dry but hidden puddles, cars splashing and the sheer heaviness of the rain meant I was soaked from foot to knee! Felt I was in danger of doing a Doctor Foster & disappearing into a puddle right up to my middle 😂

Stirred my stumps and got some stuff done. Made a big pot of vegetable and pearl barley soup, lots of white pepper in it. Delicious. Watching the BBC adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small, then going to make two condolence cards.

Trying to decide if it’s worth getting out of bed today. There are tons of jobs to do, need to read my book for the psychology shizzle, Christmas cards to make, the flat is filthy, but am exhausted and everything hurts.
