We’ve all had days where we’ve woken up, forgotten to brush our teeth, and closed all El Paso airspace for an hour instead.

All of these miserable people trying to take any shred of joy away from the rest of us.

Their tactics aren’t even original.

Like—just say you’re all miserable losers and LEAVE THE REST OF US ALONE, my god.
Sure, don’t call for an investigation into pedophiles and federal agents murdering US citizens, the lyrics Bad Bunny sang during his Super Bowl halftime show are what’s wrong with this country.

My 10 year old nephews are having a conversation about not watching things that are “AI Slop”—the kids are alright.

Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

My dad was released from prison after a stroke left him paralyzed and with significant cognitive disabilities.

Prison guards drove him 7 hours north, to his hometown, and left him alone in an emergency waiting room. A staff member who knew my family recognized his last name and called us.
During freezing temperatures in Port Arthur, Texas, a 61-year-old homeless man was found dead in his wheelchair outside a convenience store.

He was wearing a hospital gown and no shoes. Authorities say he had been released from a hospital the previous day.

This is a diseased society.

Okay but the term “opsec” is so silly and does give things a real cosplay vibe. Can someone come up with a better word?!

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

I'm just going to keep saying this until I die:

In a white supremacist patriarchy, you have value only insofar as you serve the white supremacist patriarchy.

Kyle Rittenhouse & Ashli Babbitt did. Renee Good & Alex Pretti didn't. On Jan 6, the insurrectionists did. The cops didn't.

Rinse, repeat.
The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

Finished, “The Small and the Mighty” by Sharon McMahon. Overall an inspiring and fun book—change really is made by everyday people doing “the next right thing.”

I just finished “How Fascism Works” by Jason Stanley. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sources cited ✔️ Engaging ✔️ Easy to read/not a ton of jargon ✔️

But also, it’s super disconcerting to read during These Times 👀 So…avoid if needed for self care reasons, y’all 🤗 🫶 #booksky

Ah yes. Nothing like waking up, blissfully having forgotten about The Horrors, only to pick up your phone and immediately snap back to reality. 🫠😩

It’s the perfect time to start journaling.

A quick note about what you did today, a summary of current events, a quick line about a new tv show or book, etc.

You’ll be more grounded in the moment and have an accurate historical record. Needed more than ever. #journaling

So, I read smart people.

There is a playbook for this next chapter.

I believe we can do this. It won’t be easy, but the map is there.
