Ha! I have the opposite. I show some people and they can't resist even when I'm there with them. Was the same as a kid with church bell ropes - I used to fantasize about jumping on them. The village would have thought the Germans are coming! Never did though, my dad would have skinned me, for sure

Just soaking up the landscape in your photo. Back in my traveling days I have fond memories of Morocco.

Wonderful. I have wild thyme on the hive property, but not enough to impact the honey. It would be nice to grow more. That and Russian sage.

Yes, please do. Look forward to it.

Incredible to see. I couldn't resist a Google to find out more. Over 3000 colonies of Sahara yellow bee held by a collective of 250 keepers. Flooded out twice in the 90s and they put it all back. Just amazing.

Wait! Why am seeing bird's butts all over my feed lately? It's not that I mind, cos I love birdies, so many beautiful photos, but is this a "thing" going around (asking for a friend)

On point, no doubt. And a totally free bed bug inside every issue. That's a coffee snorter 😆

I think I used the fattest one in the set. Probably a #10. But you do raise a good point for me - I hadn't thought about if there is an ideal hole size. Sounds like another Google rabbit hole to dive down 😃

Thank you. I really enjoyed doing them. I got to use my favourite power drill too, and hours walking and dreaming looking for buckets of stuff. Great fun.

🌱 Love your bug hotels. Here's one of mine from last year

Tidy simple setup. I want covers for my 2 as we haven't had a hard winter in years. Gotta be one coming and I shouldn't sit back on this. Do you put shims under the inner covers to help ventilate / prevent condensation? You use a top tray feeder or other arrangement?
