put that stuff in the past. but not just in a "tragic backstory" way.
"this all happened years ago. nobody can do anything about it anymore. the world has long moved on." can hit extremely hard if done correctly.

curious to see if anyone has studied what part of the brain responds so strongly to AI image gen for some people.
i know that when i messed around with it for a bit, back when it all started, the creative part of my brain was thoroughly unsatisfied.
