i have a hard time focusing on anything really personal when i'm not at home so i did not get any writing done this week. plus i need to scrounge up another 4.5 hours of work to meet my minimum hours before sunday. when i get home, tho, i wanna write so baaaad

Pros: the red curry (top left, in the tureen) and shiao mai (top right) turned out great
Con: I fucked up the rice (no rice cooker here and apparently I can only make it on the stovetop in just-me quantities)

Food prep today: made a pumpkin pie and sweet potato & mushroom shiao mai filling, cooked tofu to add to curry and rice for fried rice, and opened up a pineapple for the fried rice. Still to do: actually assemble the shiao mai. Everything tomorrow will be simpler
