While our Canadian election system isn't perfect and could use an upgrade (ranked voting anyone?), I will forever be grateful than an 'election cycle' lasts only a few weeks.

If Trump / Trudeau announce that the tariff's have been dropped, we all need to post how Canada won by standing up to the bully and how Trump has backed down.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.
