"Tora Dotharl - Aspiring Warrior"
Almost every Dotharl has a story of their past lives of a great warrior of the Steppe. Many struggle with the lineage they are expected to keep up with... Yet some strive on despite whatever may be in their way. Tora is a sandy pale Xaela with large horns that curve in front of her face, the scales of her body covering large patches under her eyes, covering her cheekbones in jet black scales. Her eyes and hair a lavander colour, hair long and vaguely unkempt, attempts to keep it nice and pristine but stress and the life of a trainee warrior scuffing her efforts. She's short, with a petite frame yet a close look may let one see her dense musculature. Dressed in ragged cloth and the distinct blue of the Dotharl tribe, carrying a bastard sword she clutches anxiously. One may be concerned with the tearstains on her face, but be not alarmed! ...Mostly, she isn't crying all the time... Just, sometimes... As so she says. "Every day, every day I'll get better...! Every day I'm a little closer to my name..." She repeats at nauseum The runt, the black sheep of the Dotharl clan. Not an uncommon story of a Dotharl member, each birth is a new notch in that name's lineage. this generations Tora has been a ridicule for being nothing like the legends say, an absurd warrior who would fell a dragon with their bare hands and cleave a mountain with their blade, yet here she is. Snivelling and trembling, threatening to wet herself at the sight of conflict, many of the tribe simply write her off as a failure. And yet... She still tries, she picks up the blade again and again, no matter how many times she's knocked down. She may want to vomit at the sight of a Matanga and she may, but she will still stand in front of it, blade in hand and want to fight. She wants nothing more than to be the warrior of legend... To be adored for her strength. This unyielding stance in the face of every hurdle would catch the eye of a Miqo'te adventurer, one who'd faced every battle with a smile suitable of a hero. Who'd check in regularly and nurture this one Xaela, encouraging her to try her best to reach that goal...
