This arrival of subzero air is right on schedule climatologically - we typically see the first zero or colder reading this time of year. (Long term average for the current airport location is ~Nov 30).

Fewest Gale Warnings issued by NWS Duluth since 2015 - not a perfect way to analyze it but tells the story that there’s been below normal number of synoptic storms this fall.

C’mon we’re just desperate for SOMETHING!! It’s been a remarkably boring pattern this fall, and I think we’ve all got a little cabin fever for a good storm!
