Dear Mr. Jack Daniels,
Canada is your biggest market.
Maybe you should explain this to your legislators who threaten us.
We will take all the steps necessary to defend our nation from a hostile foreign power including filling the shelves with great Canadian whiskey.

It’s horrifying that it’s come to this, but as someone with a deep affinity for Europe I feel moved seeing that continent come together to try to save itself in the absence of any meaningful aid from the totalitarian regime that’s in the midst of taking over the United States through an illegal coup

Here's an idea. Actually two.

First, you need to understand politics and the issues that matter to all citizens before you should be allowed to vote. Civics courses should be a mandatory prerequisite to receiving a voter registration.

Crazy but true.

But mostly crazy.
You couldn't make "Blazing Saddles" today. If you tried, studio exes would be all like "This is literally just the script for the 1974 film Blazing Saddles. Why are you giving me this? How did you get past security?"

Pete Hegseth says he's a changed man from the time of the sexual assault accusation that was just a smear, so it didn't happen but he promises he's not like that anymore. Gotcha.

"Hegseth was built for this moment. He is a culture warrior. He's detestable, he's slimy, he's sneaky, but he's good at it, and the Democrats are going to have to find some people who are also good at it to combat him."

Why is NPR normalizing the "non-answers" of this despicable and thoroughly unqualified POS?

Yesterday, UCP MLAs voted to give themselves a 25% increase in their caucus budget.

It matters little that the U.S. is turning its back on truth, proof, science and facts. If just a few other countries hold Meta and X to account — and turn off those platforms for their residents — it will cost them dearly.

Did you know that wages in Alberta are the slowest growing in Canada? And that we have the lowest minimum wage in the country? And that thousands of Albertans haven’t seen a pay increase in years?

But do you know who the UCP gave a raise to today?

Themselves.

Happy to find @joycewhitevance.bsky.social on only my second day here.
In his amicus brief on release of the special counsel report, Trump argues: “As the President-Elect and soon-to-be 47th President, President Trump has an interest in a smooth transition and efficacious vesting of executive power."

And irony is dead right there.
