Can you imagine the public comments? Sane people making sane/sentimental/historical points on one side. A bunch of "muh heritage" dolts on the other side defending ... the destruction/desecration of part of our national heritage.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, which is chartered by Congress, is suing the Presidential Dipshit for demolishing the East Wing and asking a court to halt construction until review processes and a public comment period takes place.

I've seen/blocked more bot follows in one year on Bluesky than I did in 17 years on Twitter.

He is pardoning State crimes now…

Looks like U.S. citizens will be the only ones attending any of the U.S. FIFA games next summer.

Their closing message to Indiana: change your maps to artificially benefit the President's political party or 'roads will not be paved' as punishment.

They are openly saying this.

Who would want to live in a country that works like that?

The year is 2056.

– Magas & militias alike hide behind curtains fearing that knock from a 95-year-old Barack Obama demanding their guns.

– Sick citizens ache for closure on the GOP's long-promised ACA replacement in two weeks.

– Letitia James sips wine & chuckles @ Bondi's 84th attempt to indict.

You know, at this point I could almost see Venezuela declaring war on *us* with the rest of the world shrugging it's shoulders and saying, "Well, yeah."

I was feelin' pretty good about having eaten all my din-din veggies, so for dessert I went out and seized a foreign oil tanker.

A lot of traveling Europeans are about to start arriving at U.S. Customs with DSLRs suspended from their necks and Motorola V3620s in hand saying, "I'm sorry? What's a 'social media?'"

The perils of writing through the night, peak hunting (or in his case, play) time for co-dependent beasts of prey with 16 hours of sunlit sleep under their pelts.

I have to go earn an engineering degree and a PhD in neurology next month. I need to build a bed-desk combo that both lets me sleep *and* allows my fingers to keep typing the novel at the same time.

G'night

I remember that scene in "Tombstone" where Wyatt shouts, "Damn it, Ike! Get in the fight or get out of the way!" Then Hegseth raises his RPG and splatters the fleeing Cowboy onto the portrait studio wall, and the boardwalk, and the dusty street.

What a night.

Six hours of writing (novel in progress) ending @ 4:30 a.m. Slept, not by choice. Dreams braided several strands. Woke at 10 and cranked out another 15 pages already.

Being a binge writer annoys me. Ideas swirl for days and days, then just explode all at once. Bigger payoff, I guess.

There’s been a flurry of court cases this week that appear to bolster the concept of an authoritarian president.

They’re ramping it up. Accelerating. All of it.

They know that they need Trump as figurehead to put their “permanent #Project2025” in place.

They don’t know how long Trump will last.

I just bought $26.17 worth of groceries. My store chain stopped me from exiting and awarded me its inaugural Peace Prize!

What an unexpected honor.

If you’ve ever worked in professional politics and you’ve seen a clip of Stephen A. Smith talking about politics, you know what it must feel like for professional athletes who see him talking about sports.

Just so we're all clear here, there was zero investigation into the J6 boom boom pipes until the Great and Magnificent Trump arrived on scene with two podcasters and a Jägermagistrate in tow. Zero.
