Mat, tbf I think you've taken the "but" a little out of context there. For a start, we don't know if it's a follow on or a new sentence due to how it's quoted. Then, the "but beyond that" is talking about paid middleware that automates tasks they used to handle manually - and the reaction to it...

Everyone blames Xbox directly for their hardware performance this gen, but this is the kind of stuff that breaks containment from "core gamers" directly into the mass market - this hit my phone notifications directly.
