Had an Africa Twin in the shop yesterday. My first (unexpected) encounter with an entirely computer controlled lighting system. Realized I had an odd bird when the blue high beam wire went OFF with the high beams on. Will need to fabricate a logic inverter circuit to make a driving light work!

2002 Suzuki SV650 Carbs before & after. Very odd main jet circuit design. The emulsion tube, normally removable and supplied new in the carb kit, is neither. Tricky to clean. The jet holder is just a tube. I wonder what drove this design choice.

I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.

Goodbye good and faithful servant. 224k miles. Lots of great memories. Ordinary maintenance and repairs but a solid performer for decades. 24 years of service, towing boats, motorcycles, tractors and even a cannon. Hauling multiple loads of lumber for many decks & sheds. Well done.
