IaC from an infrastructure and security perspective means so much more and Terraform is not "what you write" is the environment. You have drift and name other issues natively to the product.
I think it is time we move on to the next era of infrastructure management.

After working with Terraform for name years now. I have grievances. Most of them being, the tool is marketed as something it is not. And it is glorified by the community for something it is not.
It requires so much care and feeding that any infrastructure engineer can't just pick it up.

I'm curious, how much SysAdmin content have you seen? I see a large amount of folks creating content for Cybersecurity and Development. Not much SysAdmin content. So, how much have you seen?

Well, I have a controversial opinion. Terraform only works if the entire business buys into it. When you enter a business, that may not be possible. I have begun integrated ideologies from Terraform but utilizing AzureCLI w/ PowerShell Az allows for both auditing the environment and deploying in one

Looking for an antivirus this holiday season because your family member or friend got a new laptop or desktop? Just use Micrsoft Defender. Uninstall McAfee and just use Defender. "But I have a friend who swares by Bitdefender or Malwarebytes"...
Just use Defender. It's "free" and does all the same.
