Ruffles the feathers of most things Winnipeg related
Based on social media posts and sightings, 529 Wellington is going to make a quarter-year worth of sales in a week. And that might just be the TSN media’s portion, not even the teams themselves

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

Only a question of when, not if, Kash Patel will make a special guest appearance on this show.
Brothers Matthew and Brady Tkachuk just announced a new podcast, “Wingmen”, that will debut tomorrow. They just made the announcement on the Pat McAfee Show. More to come.

A pretty open and back-and-forth 1st, Jets dominated in the 2nd (which is rare on its own), and then sat on the lead in the 3rd. Scoring PPGs is good and I’m glad they finally remembered how to do it. But make no mistake, it was a game between two bad teams.

In his first and only shift of the second period, Fleury took a hit in the NZ at around 15:10 wherein he seemed to reach up to his face; and then went to battle Boeser in the DZ corner at 15:00ish and he might have toe-picked with his right leg awkwardly into the boards, but nothing super obvious
Did anyone see what happened to Fleury? Pretty sure he was there at the start of the 2nd

Quinn Hughes hurt his shoulder hooking Scheifele and you might as well flush the Canucks season down the toilet with that injury
November 12, 2025 at 4:21 AM
Demko out of the game after the 1st period, maybe due to injury?
Wasn’t the problem with the Rutherford Penguins at the end of his tenure was that they also had a high injury rate?
Canucks now officially missing half a full lineup

This does feel like a game between two of the bottom 5 teams in xGF%

Jennifer Botterill has inspired women in so many aspects of this game (including me).

It was an honor to add a story marking the historic moment of her going into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Oh hell yeah
Winnipeg will host a PWHL Takeover Tour neutral-site game between Montreal and Ottawa.

Sunday, March 22 at 6 p.m.

How about some good Winnipeg and hockey-related news? Jennifer Botterill is one of the best to ever do it and is (finally) getting the recognition for it.

In 2024-25, they never were worse than -5 xG at 5v5 cumulative on the season - only got as low as -4.15 in December. Jets are now at -8.32 xG.

Confirmed it was not good! Might’ve been real bad, actually!
Facing Celebrini yesterday and Carlsson tomorrow is going to be something (note: not a good thing for the Jets)

Quick reminder that the Ducks played (and won) last night, in Vegas, in overtime

Great play by Terry to find the puck and get it across the slot for the goal. Schenn had a great view of it after nudging a guy in front of the crease.

Also: NHL broadcasts this year have noticeably had the video lag behind the sound by about half-a-second - and it becomes obvious when it cuts to the action shots from cameras at ice level being on time, and then cutting back to the main view often shows what just happened again
November 10, 2025 at 3:38 AM
Oof, Scheifele caught drifting to the crease instead of covering his guy who eventually scored the goal

At least Schenn probably recommended a good spot for dinner in Anaheim. Real good teammate

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

this is the play in which sheldon rankins conjured a scorigami out of absolutely nothing. 30-29 had happened plenty of times and so had 37-29. scorigami only happened because the refs didn't make them stick around for the extra point
Texans win on a thicc pick six

Well, at least Winnipeggers will at minimum get their money back on their Grey Cup tickets. Will be gross seeing too much green in the stadium though (read: more than 1)

Who would've guessed?
Winnipeg might have bad players on defence, but BC definitely has the worse coordinator
