This would hard one to define/title but could be amazing. My working title is THE CONSENSUS. In 1900 labor and capital were at war and media outlets just took sides. In 1950-1980 newspapers and broadcast outlets represented the middle and did not "take sides." And now we're back to 1900 again.

Oddly enough, this got floated as a possible Burns topic on The Watch podcast with Andy Greenberg and Chris Ryan today. Ryan is a little bit notorious for having difficulty giving up his fondness for cigarettes in an era in which that doesn't really fly.

It would be a very depressing story.
