Does anyone have any advice for how to get a literary agent?
I've followed a lot of the standard advice online to no joy and now have three finished books with two more on the way with no real way to sell them outside of self-publishing and I am terrible at marketing.

I think after I finish my current chapter I'm going to put Oathmaker on hiatus. Book 3 just wasn't well plotted out enough and life is too hectic enough for a regular schedule right now.
Once I've got my new office set up I should return to writing.

Okay so on the same day they declare their intent to remove jury trials, the UK's Labour government is openly rigging the Palestine Action ban appeal by appointing loyalist judges.
This may be the most openly corrupt move in the history of British politics, and fuck me is that high bar.

I've had similar problems. Dialogue is a lot harder for some reason and I've no idea why that specifically became hard.

A sincere suggestion from a family member on what I could do to round out my world-building was to include bestiality as that would spice it up.

About ten years ago now someone I should have been able to trust lied to me.
In doing so they cost me three years of my life, sent me spiralling into depression and completely derailed every plan I had for my life.
It's been a while since I thought about it, but every time it makes me so angry 1/2
