The Master Returns: Ghost Prisoner (2024 Zhang Dicai) Zhang directs/stars as a Taoist priest in this Mr Vampire esque throwback. A bit slow to begin, but full of cool, Ching Siu-tung esque wire-fu battles in the back half. At 76 minutes, it doesn't waste your time either. Good fun!

Great addition to the Predator franchise. Was worried when it was first announced. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Well trodden themes explained the Predator culture without prior knowledge. Great action scenes showing off some iconic tools and ecology.

Pretty much everyone who has seen #TheFurious has said it's one of the best martial arts flicks of the decade and an action movie game changer akin to The Raid.

RIP Stanley Fung. It's been a terrible week losing Benz Hui and Fung. Comedy legend, member of the Lucky Stars, but he also popped up as a suave swordsman in the odd 70s wuxia which was always fun to see.
