#ACenturyOfCinema continues, 1986. Seriously, Jeff Bridges was a GOD in the 80's. In 8 MILLION WAYS TO DIE he's a alcoholic ex-cop who finds himself on the hunt for murderers of a girl he failed to protect. Rosanna Arquette is the femme fatale while Andy Garcia goes all James Woods.

saw the manics about 4 times. First time was at Essex Uni, where they kept tripping the fuze box lol. When they launched into a cover of Guns and Roses' It's So Easy, it pretty much blew my mind.

Wow those nice guy masks must be real uncomfy!. Didn't even manage to wear his for a whole 24hrs before needing to rip it off. Seems like a good strategy to make these guys wait for a response.

Excellent film, made me an instant Uthaug fan. His disaster movies (The Wave, The Quake) are good too & Escape, which also stars Ingrid Bolsø Berdal. The sequel to Cold Prey picks up the morning after, mostly set in a hospital. The 3rd is the weakest - a prequel origins story.

#ACenturyOfCinema continues, 1985:JAGGED EDGE is a fun courtroom thriller. Jeff Bridges, editor of a San Fran newspaper is accused of brutally murdering his wife by DA Peter Coyote, & hires ex prosecutor Glenn Close. The courtroom scenes are v compelling & the film keeps you guessing up to the end.

Day 3 film 2 @mayhemfilmfestival.bsky.social: MAN FINDS TAPE is a faux documentary (my fave kind of found footage flicks) about siblings investigating weirdness occurring in their small Texan town. A unique story for sure.
