For those that have known (and forgotten, or barely remembered) I present #JudgyCat as my MFA token ((something I have, or that has me at any rate).
To quote a friend:

“Thinking about it, I find it wild that the most unifying thing so far in 2025 has been...A CEO getting caught cheating with the HR chick on the jumobtron at a concert.”

I have a special set of skills. Skills that can make me a nightmare for people like you.

If you let my treats go now, that will be the end of it. I will not pursue you (unless I get hungry again). But if you do not, I will find you.

And I will judge you. #JudgyCat #CatsOfBlueSky

There's a lot to be said about identity, solidarity. But a simple place to start: the people who are willing to fight for their neighbors when their neighbors have different problems have a very, very good chance of having neighbors to fight with when you all share problems

When you (who aced all of your writing courses in school) send the draft of a memo for required vetting by management, and they use AI to do the job and provide new drafts which comes out worse.

When you tell a colleague you want to switch from IT to being a zookeeper, and they look at you and say “Dude, you’re already a zookeeper”.

Today is officially Day 1 of year 30 in IT. I remember how much I loved doing this.

I shall persevere; but it has changed.

When government attempts to suppress transparency, including those government officials who insist that transparency must exist, that government may only be called tyranny, and should be put down.

While I am a Protestant, I sincerely hope that Pope Leo continues the work that Pope Francis brought to light.

Is any Pope perfect? Surely not. However, the work to bring attention to the poor, the marginalized, and those who many treat as unequal (LGBTQ) when they are not takes Christ.

There are so many days when I would give up so much just to feel desirable. As a friend. As someone worth comforting in their pain. As someone likable in more than a superficial way.

As someone “good enough”. I don’t ever think I’ll feel that.

Chesterton’s Fence: A Lesson in Thinking
