And what does the science say? It is clear. We must phase out fossil fuels not for the sake of the planet, but to ensure a livable future for us all. And "all" includes the inhabitants of those countries who prevented this phrase from being included in the final agreement.

I don’t agree and think doomerism doesn’t help here. Most people don’t realise what adaptation really means. It’s not just installing AC. The climate crisis is disruptive, and in that light, ditching fossil fuels is actually the much better deal.
