This elderly lady has to lie under multiple blankets because it's too cold in apartment

A lot of elderly people cannot go out when the elevators don't work.If they're lonely, they cannot buy food, medicine, charge their phones and call for help.

Russia sentences them to death.

If the US is genuinely worried about a Russian threat in the Arctic then the best way to address it would be to destroy Russia's capacity for military aggression by helping Ukraine to win.

Chasiv Yar, Ukraine.

This is what happens when the Russians come.
European countries should take a good look — and never mistake this threat for something “far away.”

Putin spends millions from Russia's budget to subject Ukrainians to a life without heating, electricity and water during a harsh winter. He wants hospitals, schools, nurseries to stop working. He strives to freeze the homes where kids and adults, the elderly and the sick live.

it's bizarre to see both CNN and CNBC run with chyrons reporting that Trump said he won't "use force" to take Greenland, when the comments in question were clearly a threat to take Greenland by force. How naive are we at this point?

The choice is impeachment and removal or calamity for the United States. I don't see how anybody watching Trump's speech in Davos can draw any other conclusion. He's a senile madman.

How is the situation in #Kyiv?
Not very good. It is very cold, currently minus 8°C, dropping to minus 15°C at night,&ice is everywhere.

Kyiv is now living with power outages of up to 20 hours a day. Some buildings have no power at all. As of now, almost 60% of the capital is without power

The heating situation in #Kyiv is critical
-4,200 apartment buildings are currently without heating,it will take weeks to restore heating in some of them. That is,provided there are no new strikes

The power outages and freezing conditions in Ukraine right now are insane. Greenland news and war “coverage fatigue” not giving it the presence in headlines it deserves. The humanitarian impact is absolutely staggering.

Again. And this is something you should remind everyone of.

There have been 6 Trump peace proposals.

Ukraine accepted all 6 of them

Russia rejected all 6 of them.

And Trump still blames Ukraine.

I say it all the time: ruzkies are the embodiment of the "crab bucket" mentality.

They don't give a damn that all the money they used to kill us & demolish our cities for 4 years could have easily transform all of ruzzia into a miracle first world country.

They just want everyone to live in shit
Well that's it from me for another day. Sleep well dear followers.

I'll leave you with some photos of the dump town of Kapustin Yar, a town from where, 24 hours ago, Russia fired the Oreshnik missile.

It cost >$40m, almost half the annual budget for the entire rotten town.

As a staunch European I honestly find it humiliating, how EU leaders talk endlessly about strategic autonomy and bold defence and democratic values and then when the moment comes to actually stand up for those things, they always - always! - react like a kitten in a thunderstorm
I have spoken with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and our Ambassador in Caracas. The EU is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela.

The EU has repeatedly stated that Mr Maduro lacks legitimacy and has defended a peaceful transition. (1/2)
