I just imagine using it to, for example, contribute to my fanfics. That'd be like... antithetical to the entire reason i am writing. I'm writing because i have something to say. Substituting that with plagiarism machine's statistical output is completely pointless.

I've used it to "neurotypical-wash" my writings before. Some people really just respond better to mush-brained porridge and if that's what they want it's now real easy to produce.

Of course, i go about it in the most convoluted way possible: Write -> feed it into an AI -> rewrite based on output.

Yeah if you're actually an accomplished writer you know the "statistically average" ways to do the thing so it's unlikely the AI will show you anything new/legitimate.

Also nobody is over at the Nazi bar complaining about how it's an echo chamber. (They all know it is and that's what they like about it.)

I strongly suspect people who say things like that (and the last one in particular) are Right-wingers who want more targets to harass. They can come on here if they want, and they did for a while but then found a place with actual moderation tools not to their liking for some reason.

TBH you might be too optimistic. RAM makers have been credibly accused of cartel behavior before. The AI situation might not really be the cause and may be more an excuse everyone is using to ramp up prices. Of course, AI bros want to own all the RAM so everyone has to come to them as WELL...
