I get so irritated at the whole “work ethic” thing that’s pushed in celebrities, like with tay and Travis.

These people speak about work as if they are the hardest working ppl in the world…. Meanwhile the rest of the world is pushing themselves to the brink just to survive.

Does anyone else ever feel like they're cursed or something? Absolutely everything I've tried this year went wrong. Especially career wise and getting help for mental health wise. Everytime I put myself out there and put work into something, it goes wrong 🥴 I'm tired of even trying at this point

People are in denial about how quickly they could become disabled, unhoused or food insecure

It can happen to anyone & it can happen in an instant

Folks act like those receiving assistance have failed

That they should “try harder”

The system is rigged. It’s failed us, not the other way around

if i can just get rent ($390) and transport for tomorrow's radiation therapy ($60) paid by noon, i'd be able to rest properly today. ❤️

most of you know what my living situation is- no rent, no stay (my only option bc i have 2 evictions on my record) and i'm already late w rent 😰

There is someone out there who wants your weird little book. Even if you doubt yourself sometimes, don't doubt their earnest enthusiasm.
