Good news, Duchess – and all hail Ray, the appliance repair guy. He was a bit late because of a previous client’s error, but he came, he repaired, and pumpkin pies per the traditional Libby’s recipe are about to go into our now-fully-functioning oven!

Well, the repairman who was supposed to show up to fix our oven – and didn’t – might just fit the bill. That said, our pie pans fit into the trusty countertop toaster oven, one at a time, so there is hope yet for pumpkin pie!
